In her shoes (closet)

Perhaps a highlight of any day, or a nice way to start it at least, is opening the doors to my shoe closet and digging through the piles of jewelry to find just the right combination to fit my mood for the day. My favorite current pairs make it into the cabinet and the other hundred pairs are stacked in their own storage closet.

With the changing of the season will be the very exciting time to sadly move out some winter pairs but replace them with the bright and flirty styles that are dying to be added to the rotation.

Hello Sweet Wildfox High!

Totally in love with Wildfox's Summer 2011 lookbook which was inspired by Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High books. It highlights everything summer is all about- sleepovers, pizza, pool parties and prank calls. Its everything I did in my middle school years except slightly, er, well totally more glamorous. Sweet Valley High rocked my socks, I even had the board game. I could only dream to look like these girls when I played it!

Speaking of my middle school years...were you one of those girls that was obsessed with making friendship bracelets for everyone you knew? Ok, maybe that was just me. But anyways, I'm still doing it! I mostly died

And nearly spit out my coffee when I came across these bitches on Nasty Gal this morning.

If I had an endless supply of money (and $118 is totally reasonable for these) I would probably be forced to add these to my collection. Even just to walk around my apartment and feel like David Bowie on a Sunday afternoon.

Will (and do) Work For Shoes

Some days when I can't find the motivation to get my butt to work, I remind myself that if nothing else, I work for shoes. Then putting on my favorite pair before I leave the apartment makes the whole day better.
